Gustavus converted a crossing pass from the corner with just 1:15 remaining in overtime to beat Macalester 2-1 in St. Paul and eliminate the Scots from post-season hopes. The Gusties remain in the hunt for their fifth straight conference title and move to 11-4-1 overall and 7-2 in MIAC play. Out of the race for the four-team MIAC playoffs, Macalester is now 9-7-1 on the campaign, 4-4-1 in the MIAC.
