Martin Mudry (Sr., University Heights, Ohio / University School) ran to a second-place finish Saturday afternoon (Nov. 1) at the MIAC cross country championships at Como Park. Mudry’s runner-up effort is the highest for the program since Paul Mausling won the second of his two conference championships in 1980. St. Olaf’s Duboul Ruon took top individual honors, edging Mudry by four seconds. Mac’s star senior posted a 25:05.55 clocking. Mudry was an easy 21 seconds clear of the third-place finisher, Hamline’s Brandon Gleason.
