Macalester College Athletics

The first Macalester Athlete of the Week for the 2000-10 sports season is Majra Mucic (Jr., Zenica, Bosnia / St. Louis Park – Minn.) from the volleyball squad. Mucic led the Scots to a 2-2 record for the week. She was named to the St. Olaf/Carleton Invitational all-tournament team after spiking 12 kills and picking up four blocks and eight digs in sweeps over Crown and Martin Luther. In defeats earlier in the week to Luther and Minnesota-Morris, Mucic led the team with 16 kills and eight blocks.
