Guard Eartha Bell (So., Minneapolis, Minn. / Breck School), one of the top defensive players in the MIAC, led the way with her defensive play and rebounding in the season’s final two games last week. Bell helped the Scots gain a decisive 24-10 turnover advantage Wednesday (Feb. 20) in a come-from-behind 48-40 win over Bethel by collecting four steals to go along with seven points, four rebounds, a blocked shot and a couple assists. On Saturday (Feb. 23), in a 63-48 defensive-minded defeat to Hamline, Bell finished with a career-high 10 rebounds to go along with another four steals, four assists and two blocks. Bell finished the season as the MIAC steal leader with 3.7 per game.
