Shortstop and leadoff batter Saraswati Wilson (Olathe, Kan. / Olathe Northwest) led Macalester to a 4-0 week as the Scots gained home doubleheader softball sweeps over St. Benedict in the MIAC opener and Northland (Wis.).  Wilson collected 11 hits in 17 at-bats for a .647 batting average in the four games to raise her average on the season to .547,  Wilson scored six runs and drove in five in her team's four games, and had one double, one triple, one steal and one sacrifice fly.
