Macalester College Athletics

Nick Meerson (Sr., Los Angeles, Calif. / Harvard-Westlake) helped keep the Scots in the MIAC playoff hunt by pitching Macalester past St. Mary’s 9-3 on Tuesday (April 24) and Concordia-Moorhead 8-2 Sunday (April 29).  Meerson improves to 9-2 on the season to match the school’s single-season record for wins.  In Macalester’s wins over the Cardinals and Cobbers, he had a 2.08 ERA in 13 innings on the mound, striking out 12 batters and walking just two.
