All-MIAC second baseman Mitch Glasser (Jr., Chicago, Ill. / The Latin School) batted .567 with an .867 slugging percentage to lead Macalester to a 6-2 week. Glasser was 17-for-30 with three doubles, two homers, 11 runs scored and eight RBI. He was 2-for-2 stealing, helped turn nine double plays, and also collected a save in an extra inning win over Hamline. The Scots swept Augsburg, split with Hamline, and took three out of four over the weekend against UW-Superior. Glasser went 4-for-4 with two doubles and a homer in the third game with Superior.
