Nick Santrach (Sr., Coon Rapids, Minn.) put together the best tournament of his Macalester career, placing fifth at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Championships at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids. Santrach was tied for fourth after Saturday’s round of 74 and moved into a second place tie Sunday with a collegiate-best score of 72. His 76 scorecard in Monday’s final round gave him a 6-over-par 222 for the tournament.
