Trina PaStarr (Sr., Minneapolis, Minn. / Southwest) scored 52 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead Macalester to a pair of MIAC wins last week over Concordia-Moorhead and St. Olaf. The two-time All-MIAC forward pumped in a career-high 27 points while distributing three assists in Mac’s exciting 84-81 shootout win over the Cobbers on Wednesday and on Saturday followed that up with a 25-point performance to carry the load in a 64-53 victory at St. Olaf. PaStarr shot 71% from the field (22-for-31) in the two Mac wins.
