Guy Farmer joined the Macalester Sports Performance team in the winter of 2026 and was promoted to Assistant Sports Performance Coach in July later that year. Farmer brings an outstanding background in strength and conditioning. He began his collegiate career as a student-athlete at Augsburg University before transferring to Southwest Minnesota State University, where he completed his undergraduate degree. Most recently, Farmer earned his master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls while also working in several private sports performance facilities. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with college aged athletes and has developed a strong foundation in athletic performance, movement quality, and long term athlete development.
