Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I wanted to go to a small, liberal arts school for the small class sizes and personalized attention. I looked for a school with access to a large city and outdoor adventures. I wanted to be in a community with interesting, kind, and passionate people, and I think Macalester has much to offer.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I've learned how to constantly, critically reflect on myself, my academic work, and my actions; but, I've also learned how to balance self-criticism with self-empathy.
