Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
Macalester boasts all the qualities I was searching for in a school: small classes, engaged faculty, a diverse student body, and an interesting core curriculum. In addition to the incredible Twin Cities and the long, snowy, Minnesota winters, I was sold.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
Year one at Macalester was both challenging and rewarding. Exposure to varying cultures, rigorous classes, and two incredible cities proved to be the college experience I wanted. I am looking forward to three more years.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Throughout my time at Macalester, my teammates and coaches have served as incredible role-models of courage, grit, and positivity. Being a member of such a supportive and inspiring team has improved my confidence and leadership. I'm grateful for the opportunity to represent Macalester as a student-athlete.
