Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I liked that Mac is a liberal arts college in an urban location, and I really felt like I fit in on campus.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I've learned so much, both in the classroom and in other parts of my life and I've made friendships that will last for a long time.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
It really puts everything in perspective -- an essay doesn't seem so bad when you have a grueling track workout, and vice versa.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
I can balance a busy schedule and I know how to work hard
