Why did you choose to attend Macalester?

I chose to attend Macalester because of their small learning environments. Their rigorous academics; though intimidating, also was something that attracted me. Another thing that was very important to me was the closeness of the community. I find that your experiences and interactions with other students and faculty shape your experience wherever you are. Therefore the community should be a positive environment.
