Why I chose Macalester:
I chose Macalester for many reasons. It offers not only rigorous academics, but also an international focus and strong sense of community. At Mac, I have the opportunity to both run track and play soccer. I also was attracted to the collaborative rather than competitive style of learning that happens here. I often find myself engaging in discussion outside of the classroom, which enhances my academic experience.
