Todd Wojchik

Todd Wojchik  joined the Macalester track & field coaching staff prior to the 2013 season. He will coach the throwing events, as well as, helping with the sprints, jumps and recruiting.

Prior to Macalester, Wojchik coached four West Coast Conference champions and 34 all-conference performers at Division I University of Portland.  He also had successful coaching tenures with the Wisconsin Track Club, Colorado School of Mines, and the University of St. Thomas (Minn.). 

Coach Wojchik brings a wealth of knowledge to the Macalester Track and Field program. He is USA-Track and Field-Level 3 certified (Throws), as well as, Level 5–Elite Coach certified through the International Association of Athletics Federations; These are the highest levels of distinction awarded by each organization. Furthermore, he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), certified Sports Performance Coach (USA-Weightlifting), and USATF-Level 2 certified in the Jumps.

A 2000 graduate of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, Wojchik set four school records at Luther, including the still-standing discus and indoor shot put marks.  He was a three-time IIAC Conference Champion, 11-time all-conference performer and three-time NCAA National qualifier. Coach Wojchik currently resides in Minneapolis with his wife, Dr. Erica Roberson, and their daughter Zoey.
