Macalester College Athletics

Daniell Freshwaters graduated from Macalester in 2022 and was a four-year member of the cross country and track and field teams. She served as captain for both programs and won multiple academic all-conference honors during her time as a student-athlete. Danielle also won the athletics department’s Rider Cup Award in 2022.

Freshwaters returned to Macalester in the fall of 2022 as an assistant coach for the cross country and track & field teams, working primarily with the middle and distance runners.
