Competed in the 100m at the MIAC Outdoor Championships on May 12-13… Ran with the sprint medley relay team that earned third place (4:29.61) at the Norse Invite on April 15… Posted personal records in the 100m and 200m dashes at the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational on April 27-29.

Ran the 60m Dash in 8.75 at the Saint John's/Saint Benedict Alumni Meet on Jan. 29... Member of the 4x200m relay team that finished in 1:56.14 at the Meet of Hearts on Feb. 12.

Before Mac
Ran the 100m in 14.76 seconds at The Clinton School... Ran the 200m in 30.69 seconds... National Honors Society.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because of my virtual tour. I fell in love with the kind personality and attitude that the tour guides had, the campus, and the opportunities at Macalester. From talking to Coach Brautigam, I got a feel for the kind of people at Macalester and I was really excited to hear the type of family I could have and the new relationships that I could make. I know some people that graduated from Macalester and had really great experiences and from that I became a lot more interested in seeing myself at Macalester. I also wanted a change of scenery and climate. Being from New York City, I wanted a chance to be near cities but be on a campus and to be in a new area. I also visited the campus in May and absolutely loved it.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you?
My experience at Macalester College has meant a lot of things to me. It has meant finding new supportive communities, taking challenging courses, exploring campus and the Twin Cities, and trying new things.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
It has allowed me to both a patient and worker in sports medicine and has inspired me to apply to graduate schools to be an athletic trainer and continue to support my fellow student-athletes.
