As a Scot
Dean’s List recipient … Studied abroad in Ecuador in Fall 2015 … Also a member of the Swim and Dive team at Macalester
2016: Competed in MIAC outdoor conference in the 200 meters, 4x100 meters, 4x400 meters and pole vault … At indoor championships, qualified in the pole vault
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because I could continue to participate in sports at the Division 3 level. I liked the small campus and the strong sense of community.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I have really enjoyed meeting all the different and exciting people at Macalester. I am really looking forward to being with and contributing to the team this year.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a part of the Mac Track and Field team has put me in an environment where self discipline, confidence, and a positive attitude are some of the keys to success. Being a student athlete has and helped me hone my time management skills as well as allowed me to make lifelong friendships that will carry me through life after graduation.
