Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
Both of my parents went to Macalester and my mom worked there when I was younger, so I grew up around the campus. Due to that, Macalester stayed on my mind when I was thinking of colleges. Macalester ended up being one of my top choices and being able to play tennis in college while being academically challenged was what helped me make the final decision.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a student-athlete has really helped me with my time management. Tennis takes up a lot of my time mostly in the spring semester and I have had to work on homework and other projects on buses to our matches. Another thing that being a student-athlete has helped shape me as an individual, is that it has shown me how to prioritize different things. It has shown me how to realize which things in my life I need to prioritize and what I don't need to prioritize as much.
