Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because after all I had heard about it I knew I would fit in well here.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
As someone who swam very competitively growing up, I really wanted something with more balance in college. The Macalester Swim Team has shown me that, while swimming is an individual and very competitive sport, it is mostly about having fun and creating bonds with people. This new perspective has made me a better athlete and an even better person.
