Logged personal bests in the 50-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard backstroke at the MIAC Championships on Feb. 14-17… Finished in fourth place (1:05.47) in the 100-yard backstroke against St. Benedict on Oct. 21.

Captain of the swim team at Vashon Island High School for the 2022-23 year… Swam the 50-yard freestyle in 26.40… Vice president of the National Honors Society… Received the President’s Education award.
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because of the strong emphasis on multiculturalism and internationalism. The location in the Twin Cities gives students many opportunities while still being able to have small school benefits. The community at Macalester also felt very welcoming and tight-knit.
