2022-2023
Recipient of the Presidential Leadership Award for Outstanding Seniors… Earned Academic All-MIAC honors… Placed fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke against Hamline on Nov. 19.

2021-2022
Received Academic All-MIAC honors... Totaled nine top 10 performances... Swam three season bests, at the MIAC Championships on Feb. 16-19, in the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.20), 100-yard freestyle (56.51), and the 50-yard freestyle (25.82).

2019-2020
Produced five top-10 finishes on the season…  Borg also swam to a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:09.48 in dual meet against Saint Benedict on Nov. 2… The rookie earned a third-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:10.76 at the St. Olaf Tri-Meet on Jan. 18. 

Before Mac
Two-time State Champion… Named captain of the swim team… Recorded six top-three finishes… Earned Palmetto Fellows honors.
 
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because of the many opportunities it had for me to grow inside and outside the classroom. I knew I would be both challenged and accepted here.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My experience at Macalester has helped me evolve into a stronger, more well educated person.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience has shaped me as an individual through constantly helping me gain new tools to succeed. I have been able to both physically and mentally grow stronger and more resilient.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Macalester has prepared me for the constant change in life and shown me how great it can be with the right people around me.
