What do you appreciate most about Macalester?
I love how passionate people are about school, but also about random other stuff. Everyone here has something they love, for some people it's bio research, but for other people it's battlestar galactica. I love that.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
I've found a supportive group of people who will put up with my nonsense and general silliness, and who will continue to be my support system after graduation. After graduation, I will use the skills that I've worked on in the pool (ex. staring at straight lines on the bottom of the pool, impersonating marine mammals) to begin a fulfilling career, probably in education.
