Member of the Dean’s List… Participates in Rock Climbing Club… Is a Research Assistant at the Macalester Cognitive Psychology/Eye-Tracking Lab.
2018-19
Compiled 16 top-10 finishes throughout the season… Started the season with a ninth-place finish in the 1M dive at the Macalester Pentathlon on Oct. 12… Placed third in both the 1M and 3M dives against St. Norbert on Nov. 3… Had another strong meet against Hamline and St. Olaf on Jan. 19, finishing second in the 3M dive and third in the 1M dive… Added fourth-place finishes in both dives against St. Kate’s on Jan. 25… Finished the year with two fifth-place finishes against Grinnell on Jan. 26.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being both a student and athlete at Macalester has given me an amazing, supportive community which pushes me to do my best and also manage my time well. I think I'm a more well-rounded and healthier individual because of the unique and passionate people I've grown to call my friends through the Macalester swim team.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
It's taught me to manage my schedule and persevere.
