Claimed Academic All-MIAC honors… Swam at nine meets… Logged All-MIAC honorable mentions with sixth place finishes in the 1,650-yard freestyle, the 400-yard individual medley and the 200-yard butterfly at the MIAC Championships on Feb. 19-22… Won the 500-yard freestyle (5:35.81) at Luther on Oct. 18… Won the 1,650-yard freestyle (18:43.55) and the 400-yard individual medley (4:58.69) at the Grace Goblirsch Invitational on Nov. 23.
2023-2024
Earned All-MIAC honors in the 200-yard butterfly with a second-place finish in a school-record 2:10.97 and received an All-MIAC honorable mention for a fifth-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle with a personal best 5:13.15 at the MIAC Championships on Feb. 14-17… Claimed Academic All-MIAC honors… Won the 200-yard butterfly (2:17.61) and 400-yard individual medley (4:58.96) and placed second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:35.07) at the Grace Goblirsch Invite on Nov. 18.
2022-2023
Competed in the 100-yard butterfly, the 200-yard butterfly and the 500-yard freestyle at the MIAC Championships on Feb. 15-18… Placed first in the 200-yard butterfly (2:20.34) and third in the 500-yard freestyle (5:40.04) against Carleton on Nov. 5.

Co-captain at Hudson High School… Four-time All-Conference team… Three-time state qualifier… Received the Rookie of the Year award in 2018… National Honor Society… National German Honor Society… Four-time Academic All-Conference.
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because of the rigorous academics, educational opportunities, and the emphasis on multiculturalism and civic engagement. I love that I am able to be a part of a tight knit community and can continue to swim while focusing on my academics.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you?
My experience at Macalester so far has meant the absolute world to me. My peers, teammates, coaches, friends, and professors are extremely supportive, knowledgeable, and inspiring. Because of this tremendous community at Macalester, I've learned so much about myself in and out of the classroom.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a student-athlete at Macalester has helped me understand how important it is to advocate for myself. There are many challenges in being a student-athlete but knowing there is a community behind me that encourages to me to be vocal about my needs has helped me grow as an individual. Learning to speak up for myself has helped me reach my goals that I never thought I could reach in and out of the pool.
