What do you appreciate most about Macalester?

I love the intense passion present in every member of the Macalester community. It doesn't matter what they love, but everyone here loves something, and I find that so inspiring everyday.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?

Macalester has taught me to value passion in a person. Every single student enrolled here cares about something. Macalester has taught me to dedicate myself to things that matter to me; from every one of my classes, to every practice and competition, to the extracurricular activities I pursue.
 

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?

In a way, I feel that my experience as a student-athlete at Mac has left me largely unprepared for my postgraduate life. My years with teammates, coaches, and support staff have been so amazing that I can't picture my daily life without my Leonard Center family. However, graduation is inevitable and I know that I am equipped for whatever life after Macalester may bring thanks to the ways Mac athletics helped me grow.
