Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I love that Mac has such a big international presence and tries to cultivate its students into global citizens. Although Mac is prestigious academically, its students do not exude ego and are not pretentious. Everyone is there to learn and works hard because they love to learn. Athletically, the coaches are awesome and the team plays the game in the style I love playing. The team isn't catty, and everyone loves the game. They work hard because they want to, not because they're scared of the coaches or the performance standard. They're creative because it's okay to make mistakes, as long as one learns from them.
