What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I have made so many connections at Macalester, both in academics, athletics and within the community as a whole. Mac offers so many great opportunities to meet new people, and I am grateful for how much I have learned by being exposed to other people's experiences. Overall, being at Mac has meant that I've started to become a much more thoughtful, understanding person.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Athletics in general require student to be disciplined in both their practice and in their time management, and this is especially true at Mac since we're all committed to our academics as well. Being at Mac has strengthened this quality in me, and has also provided me with a team that inspires me intellectually and athletically.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
As with any athletic experience, being on the women's soccer team here at Macalester has taught me the importance of working hard, committing to your goals and being passionate about that which you are pursuing. All of these are things that athletics and Macalester have prepared me to take into life after graduation.
