Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Mac because I loved the combination of a small liberal arts education in an urban center, as well as being able to persue both academics and athletics in a challenging environment. The strong sense of community, both within the team and the student body as a whole, created a very inviting environment that I couldn't wait to be a part of.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student athlete at Macalester has allowed me to grow as a person both on and off the field. I have learned to balance my work for the team and for the classroom, along with various valuable life lessons through the sport itself. The support system I have gained from my teammates, coaches, and alumni is a huge part of my college experience so far, and will continue to be there for me in the years to come.
