Biography
Why I chose Macalester:
Macalester offered everything I wanted in a school. A small student body that allowed students to get to know their professors and take part in class discussions, a fantastic reputation, and a competitive soccer team that I could be a part of.
What Macalester has meant to me:
Macalester has offered so many opportunities for me, both academically and personally. I've been able to meet so many extraordinary people, and I've been exposed to so many different cultures and ideas.
How Macalester Soccer has shaped me as an individual:
Being a student athlete has taught me discipline, how to deal with critique, and probably most important, how to manage my time. I've had to learn how to prioritize and work with others. Overall, I say it has made me a much more well-rounded person, and I'm thankful for that.
How Macalester Soccer has prepared me for life after graduation:
Though I'll miss being a student athlete at Macalester more than I can say, I think I've been able to use the discipline that I've learned and apply it to whatever I decide to do after I leave Macalester.
