Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because I knew it would be a place that I could grow as a person and broaden my horizons while also doing the thing I love most, soccer.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My experience here has been all about learning how to balance, a very important skill that I did not value enough until coming to Macalester.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being at student-athlete at Macalester has given me a true sense of community. I know that at the end of the day I have 30 plus teammates that have my back, but I also have 400 some fellow student-athletes that are going through similar experiences as me day in and day out, and that gives me a lot of comfort and pride.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
I am prepared for life after graduation because being a Macalester student-athlete has taught me that it is 100% worthwhile to dedicate my time and energy towards the thing that I love, no matter what the results may yield.
