Biography
Why I chose Macalester:
"Macalester came as close to being exactly what I wanted as any college or university I visited. I wanted to be in a city, but to have small classes, strong academics with an international aspect, and to play for a great soccer program- all of these criteria were met and exceeded by Mac. When I visited Mac as a high school senior, I went to the women's conference championship game against a rival team. Just being in that environment made me realize that I needed to be a part of that team, that it was something special. Being a part of the Macalester team has given me the perseverance and courage to fight for anything I want, and above all else, has given me a family."
