Why I chose Macalester:
I knew that I wanted a smaller school with a great location, and Macalester was a perfect fit. I knew it was also a great school academically, and the women's soccer program had a great reputation. To be at a school with a large emphasis on soccer and academics was going to be the right choice for me.
What Macalester has meant to me:
So far Macalester has been everything I could have asked for. The classes and professors are amazing, the athletics and academics have challenged me every step of the way and I really feel like I have grown as an individual.
How Macalester Soccer has shaped me as an individual:
Not only do I get to meet so many amazing people, but I am challenged everyday both mentally and physically. Even though soccer is a rest from the classroom, it still has its own challenges every day. It forces me to push myself to excel in every aspect of my life, both inside and outside the classroom.
