Zoe Eth joined the women’s soccer coaching staff at Macalester as the Scots’ Assistant Coach - Defensive Specialist. Eth is a former teammate of head coach Madeline Buckley’s at William Smith College, where the duo helped the Herons win the Division III national championship in 2013.
Eth started her coaching career at William Smith, leading the developmental program and assisting with the varsity squad for three years. Most recently, Eth was the assistant coach at Gustavus Adolphus, leading the defensive efforts and coaching an All-Region third team defender.
A three-time Liberty League All-Academic pick and a Dean's List student, Eth played in 74 career matches for the Herons. As a holding midfielder, she logged six goals and two assists for 14 career points. A member of the 2013 national championship team, Eth was selected to the NCAA All-Tournament team. In addition, she was a two-year member of William Smith's Core Leadership Program.
