Forrest Randall enters his fifth season at Macalester and the first as the Scots' primary assistant women's soccer coach.
Randall played high school soccer at Lakeville High School and premier club soccer for the St. Paul Blackhawks. He attended Minnesota-Duluth, where he was an all-conference hurdler who set school records in the 200-meter hurdles indoors and was part of the Bulldogs' record-setting sprint medley relay.
He also played club soccer at UMD before graduating in 2010 with a bachelor of science degree in exercise science with an emphasis in health and fitness.
Randall coached the girls' soccer team at Proctor High School for five seasons (2008-12) and led the team to its first winning season in seven years.
He has obtained his United States Soccer Federation 'C' license, National Soccer Coaches Association of America high school coaches and level III goalkeeping diplomas.
Randall also has a USA Track and Field level I coaching certificate, has obtained his nutrition coach certification from the American College of Sports Medicine and is a certified personal trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine.
Aside from his duties at Macalester, Randall works at Eclipse Select MN as the college coordinator and head coach of the soccer club's 2000 and 2002 elite teams.
Randall resides in Richfield, Minn., with his wife, Kelly.
