Started in four of 18 appearances… Tallied two assists and six shots… Assisted twice in the 5-0 win against Northland on Sept 1… Academic All-MIAC.

2021
Played in all 18 games with 15 starts... Went 5-for-9 shots on goal... Scored the game winner against Grinnell on Oct. 19... Tallied 854 minutes... Academic All-MIAC honors.

2020
Earned Academic all-conference honors.

2019
Appeared in 15 games with one start… Took one shot against UW-Stevens Point  Sept. 6… Tallied 534 minutes Macalester.

Before Mac
Earned Academic All-State honors… Named an AP Scholar… Member of the athletics/fine arts Honor Roll.
 
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I loved the people I met both times I visited and the campus is great! The location in the cities also really helped my decision.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
The most meaningful part of Macalester so far has been receiving an excellent education from engaged professors while simultaneously training hard in soccer and developing relationships with my peers and teammates. 

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
One of the messages that has stuck with me as an athlete is 'control what you can control'. I think especially last year in which nothing was normal and everything seemed out of control, I found some peace in knowing there were some things I knew for certain. Just like I have learned that I can't control the weather during a game but I can control my sleep and stress the night before, I also learned I can't control what is happening all over the world but I could/can control my mentality.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
I've learned an incredible amount of mental resilience being an athlete at Macalester, which I will continue to develop long after I graduate. More importantly though, I've been encouraged throughout my time here to involve myself in issues greater than athletics, which I will carry with me after graduation – there is always more to learn, grow from, and explore.
