How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student-athlete at Macalester has helped shape me as an individual primarily through the team culture of the women's soccer team. The people I am surrounded by everyday and get the privilege to call my friends and teammates have modeled to me what it looks like to be an all-encompassing hard working, compassioante, determined, and thoughtful person. Being a student-athlete has challenged me in ways that have allowed me to grow and push myself beyond what I previously believed was possible, and an invaluable part of this was the support of my teammates. 

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because of its great academics, location, and commitment to its core beliefs. I felt it embodied qualities I value and was confident it would provide me with a great experience.
