How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student-athlete at a school like Macalester forces you to develop intensive time management skills. I've found that the less time I have, the more productive I am about staying on task. Being a student athlete has helped me to direct my attention to what I am doing in the moment and to worry about the tasks I have at hand when I actually am in the position to accomplish them.
