Why I chose Macalester:
It was mostly a feeling - I felt like Macalester could be a home away from home. I liked the urban location and endless opportunities available on and off campus as well as the quality of academic programs.
What Macalester has meant to me:
I can't believe that I am about to start my final year at Macalester! In the past few years, I have grown so much as a student and person and am grateful to have had the support of the Macalester community.
How Macalester Golf has shaped me as an individual:
Being a student-athlete at Macalester has made me a better, more well-rounded person. It has been such a privilege to be a member of the golf team.
How Macalester Golf has prepared me for life after graduation:
The skills and insight into myself and others that I have learned by being a student athlete can all be transferred to the "real world." Competitive sports is stimulating intellectually and emotionally, as I hope my life after graduation will be.
