Why did you choose to attend Macalester?

I was drawn to Macalester’s multicultural focus, academic accolades, as well as its urban location in the Midwest. The strong sense of community, in the classroom and on a sports team, is something I can’t wait to be a part of.  I hope to engage in learning with friends from many backgrounds and further develop my identity within a globally diverse college campus.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?

I have met people who motivate me to persevere through new challenges and to find an energizing balance in each day.
