Placed 32nd in the season-opening race at the Macalester/St. Olaf 4k, finishing in 19:30… Ran a personal record 6k at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 29 with a time of 25:59… Finished the year at the MIAC Championships, finishing the 6k course in 26:47.
2017
Participated in six different races in her first season… Started the season with a 27:14 6k in the St. Olaf Invitational on Sept. 16… Ran her best 6k at the Carleton Running of the Cows on Sept. 30, finishing in 27:04… Also ran a 5k at the St. Kate’s Invite on Oct. 7, completing the course in 22:51.

AP Scholar … Most Improved, Garfield High School cross country ... Bulldog Award.
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because of the welcoming atmosphere on campus and to have the freedom to be involved with both sports and extracurriculars while still challenging myself academically. Also because of the free popcorn in the Loch.
