Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I came to Mac because I wanted to be around people who are really passionate about what they do.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
Everyone at Mac is so passionate about what they do and they push me to work harder and pursue causes that I care about.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
My experience running for Mac has taught me the importance of holistic wellbeing. It's important to be tough, gritty, and independent on the course and in classes, but it's equally important to be mindful, practice good mental health strategies, and ask for help. I'm so grateful for our XC program because these are skills that I will be able to be to use for the rest of my life.
