Ran in four races for the Scots... Finished 48th at the MIAC Preview on Sept. 9 with a time of 25:07.1... Academic All-MIAC.
2021
Competed in five races for the Scots... Ran a PR of 24:06.2 in the 6,000 meter at the NCAA DIII North Region Championships on Nov. 13... Academic All-MIAC honors.
2020
Earned Academic all-conference honors.
2019
Colnes competed in four races for the Scots as a rookie.
Before Mac
Won team’s Most Valuable Runner award three years in a row… Also named team’s Most Valuable Skier during her senior season… Graduated with highest honors.
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
Because Macalester seemed like an interesting place and has a really big international focus. It also seems like a really good college.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
It has helped me learn to get out of my comfort zone.
