Opened the season by running a 18:56.1 in the 5k at the St. Olaf Ole Opener and finishing in second-place... Ran a personal best 22:00.2 6k at the MIAC Championship to finish sixth-place... Finished ninth-place in the 6k with a 22:11.0 at the NCAA D-III North Region Cross Country Championships.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
My experience as a student athlete at Macalester has provided me opportunity to balance a rigorous education and simultaneously run at a competitive level with a dedicated community of high achieving, passionate teammates. I am continuously inspired by my team, in the classroom and on the course, to push myself a bit further beyond my comfort zone, a lesson that I will take with me forever.
