Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I wanted a school with strong academics where I could also run cross country. I also liked the location.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I have met many amazing people including my professors, coaches, and teammates. My teammates inspire me and help motivate me through practices and school work. I love the supportive environment of our team.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
I have met many strong and talented people who help motivate me in athletics and academics.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
As a student-athlete at Macalester, I have been forced to learn how to manage my time. I have learned to stay on top of my school work and prioritize healthy habits like getting adequate sleep. My coaches at Macalester have also helped me develop a strong work ethic that carries over into academics as well as sports. Being a part of a team has contributed to my ability to work together with others and listen. These skills will continue to benefit me after graduation.
