Dean’s List recipient … Plays clarinet in Wind Ensemble and Pipe Band … Studying abroad in Budapest, Hungary in Spring 2018.

2018
Named to the MIAC All-Academic team… Opened the season with a 11^th place finish at the Macalester/St. Olaf Invitational 4k on Aug. 31 with a time of 17:09… Placed in the top 50 at the St. Olaf Invitational on Sept. 22, finishing in 25:02… Ran three straight races in the 24-minute range, including a 24:06 time at the Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational on Oct. 13… Put up her best time of the season at the Central Region Championships, completing the 6k in 23:51.

2017
Named to the MIAC All-Academic team… Finished 19^th in the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 23 with a time of 25:05… Ran her first sub-24 minute 6k of the season at the Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational on Oct. 14… Recorded a PR at the Central Region Championships, completing the 6k course in 23:16, which ranks tied for 15^th on the Macalester Top 50 Honor Roll… Earned an 18^th place finish at the St. Kate’s Invite on Oct. 7, running the 5k in 20:08.

2016 
Raced a 6,000 meter season PR of 24:39 at the St. Olaf Invitational … Earned Academic All-MIAC awards.
 

2015 
In her first collegiate race ran 20:00 for the 5,000 meter course at the Luther All-American, a time making her 20th on the Macalester all-time 5,000 meter honor roll … Raced a time of 24:04 in her 6,000 meter debut at the St. Olaf Invitational … Put down a time of 15:54 in the 4,000 meter at the St. Kate’s Invitational, a time making her 27th on the Macalester all-time 4,000 meter top 50 honor roll … Raced a 6,000 meter PR at the UW-La Crosse Tori Neubauer Invitational with a time of 23:36 … Voted Women’s Cross Country Rookie of the Year … Scored for the Scots at the Central Region Championships.

Before Mac

Team captain of track and cross country teams at Eau Claire Memorial … Led cross country team to 2014 state title … Four-year letterwinner in cross country and track … Holds the school record in the 3200m relay (9:18) … Graduated as an AP Scholar with Distinction.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?

I love being around people who want to change the world.

My time at Macalester has pushed me to relish challenges,  both in the classroom and on the track. Also, I have learned to give bagpipes the appreciation they deserve. Go Scots!
