Courtney Euerle

Courtney Euerle is back for her third season as the Scots' women's basketball assistant coach. She joined the Macalester staff after completing her collegiate playing career in the Spring of 2014 at Saint Mary's University, where she was named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference player of the year. A well-rounded 6-1 forward for the Cardinals, she finished in the top 20 in the conference in scoring, field goal and free throw percentage, rebounds and assists.

A three-year starter at Saint Mary's, she averaged 9.1 points and 6.4 rebounds in 107 career games and, as a senior average 13.5 points and 7.7 rebounds, completing her career ranked first in games played and second in blocked shots (124) at St. Mary's.

Euerle was a team captain for the Cardinals and was an Ambassador member as well as a member of the Business/Public Relations Club at St. Mary's. During her senior year, she was worked as an intramural intern, managing workers and supervising competitions while also helping to update and maintain the organization's social media platforms and working to improve the marketing tactics used by the department.

Euerle, a Litchfield, Minn., native and 2010 graduate of Litchfield High School, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in sport management and marketing, with a minor in public relations from St. Mary's in May of 2014.
