Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I loved the atmosphere when I visited and also liked the idea of the language houses. I thought this would be the best place to pursue my love of language.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
It gives me a sense of family and of belonging even if only with a small group of people. It's nice to not have to worry about the social aspect of college. It also causes me to work harder during season so I can keep up my athletic and academic success.
