Chosen to the D-III All-Region IX third team… Named All-MIAC… All-America Scholar-Athlete… Academic All-District and Academic All-MIAC… Batted .398 with 47 hits and 34 runs to rank sixth in the MIAC in batting average and fourth in runs… Stole 19 bases in 23 attempts (her career 51 stolen bases ranks third all-time at Mac)... In her final regular-season doubleheader, Nicholson went 4-for-7 with two runs in a sweep of St. Scholastica on May 3… Finished her Macalester career with 174 hits and 109 runs, third all-time in both categories.

2024
Named to the All-MIAC team… Started in all 41 appearances… Registered a team-high batting average of .417, on-base percentage of .500, 53 hits, 35 runs, 20 walks and 15 stolen bases on 20 attempts… Logged a fielding percentage of .967 with 55 putouts… Recorded at least one hit in each of the Scots’ last 13 games… Posted a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs against St. Norbert on March 11... Named to the Division III Academic All-District team… Earned Academic All-District and Academic All-MIAC honors.

2023
Named to the All-MIAC team… Started in all 38 appearances… Led the team with a batting average of .375 and 11 stolen bases on 15 attempts… Registered 39 hits, 20 runs and 11 walks… Logged a fielding percentage of .957 with 60 putouts… Smashed a triple against Fredonia on March 17... Named to the Division III Academic All-District team.. Received Academic All-MIAC honors.

2022
Started in all 36 appearances in her debut season… Batted .343 with 20 runs, two doubles, eight RBI’s, and four sacrifice hits… Stole six bases in seven attempts… Went 2-for-2 and scored three runs against Gustavus on April 13.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
It seems like a great fit for me because of the small class sizes, the location, and the rigorous academics.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you?
My experience at Macalester has challenged me to grow inside and outside the classroom. I feel surrounded by a supportive community.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
My experience as a student-athlete at Macalester has given me strong communication skills that will benefit both my professional and personal life in the future.
